Free Yoga Videos for Children
Yoga for children is a new science, and we are starting to understand its benefits, which are amazing.
The modern world is too fast, so we need to counteract and teach children how to slow down. It does not mean we can ask them in a monochromatic tone and a tedious technique to slow down. We need to honour children’s need for colour and adventure.
Me Hearties (MH) is based on a methodology approved by thousands of children in Brazil and worldwide.
We ask you to have an open mind. This is not your typical Netflix program!
The techniques are all based on Traditional Yoga, delivered in a way that children will learn while having fun.
We touch on many concepts; for example, we talk about emotions and how we must go through them with presence and an open heart. Children can learn resilience by staying with the uncomfortable and, at the same time learning their limits and how we all together can build a world based on love and tolerance.
Me Hearties knows that the only way to build a different world is by showing how children can love themselves and love others.
We care about the deep stuff; we know that positive change depends on each of us, and at the same time, change can only happen when all of us decide that it is time.
Let us bring new concepts to your school and home. We promise will be fun, educational and full of wisdom!

The video above starts with an introduction to how to sit down. You might ask, why on Earth should we tell children to sit down? Well, we show them how to have a healthy posture to avoid back pain (one of the world’s highest health problems affecting mobility).
Here we dive into a moment of mindfulness so children can start grasping what mindfulness is about.
The episode goes into a full one-body workout, pointing to specific movements that require coordination and precision. Children have the chance to explore the body, and while doing it, the body and nervous system start to talk to each other, creating solid neuropathways that help cope with stress.
Children love the animal yoga postures; they are fun, and most importantly, they connect children to nature!
One of MH’s hallmarks is teaching children how to live from the heart. Heart connection has shown that we can function better and with a healthier mindset if we look at the world through the heart-felt connection; science is also starting to catch up.
Well, without further ado, please press play and allow all children to enjoy the power of Yoga!
In this episode, we dive into many Yoga and Mindfulness foundational concepts. Children will follow the instructions to notice a myriad of attributes, from sitting down all the way to inner knowing.
We work throughout the episode with interoception which is the ability to feel within.
Children will exercise in a very unique way. The explanations are all aimed at getting children to connect within.
This is a short video that guides children through a very powerful breathing technique. Neuroscience has been researching which is the best breathing pattern and found that a double inhale with a long exhale is the best to counteract anxiety.
Such a simple yet very powerful technique must be taught to children! Behold… the breath work video!
Plus… some exercises based on Yoga for children to do in the classroom!
