Dear one, it’s a pleasure to meet you.
I’m Cainara, your guide to a life full of magic and connection. Please allow me to introduce myself as my life has been quite a journey. Like all spiritual journeys, it started with my dark night of the soul in 2012 with the birth of my beautiful baby boy in the dark, freezing winter of Epsom (UK). I wasn’t prepared for what a lonely motherhood would bring. I knew within my bones that taking care of a child isolated in a house was against women’s nature.
Soon, I found myself in a downward spiral, feeling so lonely, overwhelmed, and trapped in a fog of sadness and helplessness. As a Brazilian, community had always been my oxygen, but here I was, drowning — far from home, often alone in the grey, rainy UK, raising two young children. Depression set in deeply, and I fell into habits that pulled me down even further.
I was a dedicated mother, but inside, my soul was crying.
Life was slipping away. I was between the pharmaceutical pill or a miracle. But I’m not one to give up. After researching for hours and hours, I found myself sitting on my bed, downloading a meditation app. It seemed like a simple start—Dr Google said that meditation was going to fix my problems. I did not believe it, but I was short of options, so I followed the app’s prompts: “Chant now, Om Mani Padme Hum…” I was struggling to understand the words, but I kept going, one minute, two minutes, three, four, five… Then, I felt a click and a swirling energy stormed inside of me; this vortex cracked me open violently and I burst into crying that went on for FOUR hours.
The next morning I had this inner necessity of chanting, so I woke up at 5 am (I hate waking up early), wrapped myself in the warmest blanket, sat in on the furthest place I could find—4 degrees glass room, and chanted. I chanted morning, afternoon, and night. Within a week, things started to brighten up, my family joined this fancy wellness club called David Lloyds that broke us but was about to fix me.
I attended my very first yoga class—a ridiculously hard Vinyasa. Today that is definitely not my cup of tea, but that class kicked the door open. I knew in my soul that my path was to become a meditation and yoga teacher. So here I am. Seven years later, a degree in Psychology, two Yoga certifications with millions of people tuning into my online meditations and Yoga lessons. However, I feel that it is time to find my community and share my knowledge with flesh and blood people in the most amazing connection vortex of South Australia.
The Karrawirra Parri Estuary.
So, why should you take part in the sessions – my quick CV – I am a traditional yoga teacher certified in Tantra, Kriya, Kundalini, and Hatha Yoga, with a degree in psychology. But the real reason is that Yoga saved me; it grounded me, allowing me to live a magical, full life. I strive to be my best every day; that means tuning in to my body and flowing with the present moment.
And that’s why I’m here—to guide you toward the same connection, peace, and joy. I believe you can find your way, and I am here to help you on your journey to true bliss.
